The Wharf

The Wharf is always my favorite place to eat when in Okoboji! The cold drinks and delicious food are a perfect compliment for the outstanding view! Plus the wait staff are always so nice and fun! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal in the Lakes Area! Hands down, the best!

Growing up in this area I remember the warf as a great place to eat. Was in the area last week and 4 of us dined on the deck overlooking the bridge (best part of the place). Are food was awful. We had BLT, Chiken swiss/mushrom, tenderlion and a patty melt. The pattymelt and fries were the only good things we found in our lunch. It was a big disappointment, won‘t be going back.

The Wharf is awesome and the best burger or shrimp. Just a good old fashioned lake restaurant!

We were there on a Sunday and the service was the worst I‘ve ever had. We were there with friends and as soon as we walked in the door the employees were ignoring us. It took over half an hour before anyone came to us to ask for drinks. Our waitress was rude and everyone else felt that way. We couldn‘t get a refill for our drinks (we felt we‘d get chewed out). Then we went to the bar area for refills and the bartender ignored us for 5 minutes and we went without. I will never think about going back here. The location is awesome but the help is terrible. Congratulations you set the bar as low as possible.

I can‘t believe the sevice we got and the food was awsome. The Wharf is one pace i will visit for ever and ever.

Recommended only for the water view. I would stay away from the menu or choose something so basic it can‘t be messed up by poor ingredients.

So I look at the menu. Scallops, Shirmp, Walleye...sounds great. The Wharf even sounds like it would be a great restaurant (San Fran). Seriously!!! The Walleye was fresh from the freezer, pre-breaded, and was terrible. I even asked the waitress for the box it came in as a souvenir to remind me how horrible it was. Come on people, you are on a lake with vacationers looking for good food. Even Culver‘s has you topped for walleye hands down...very dissapointed. The only thing that was good was the beer, which we had plenty of during the hour wait once we ordered. I will say the waitress was friendly, poor girl...go work somewhere else!!!

We ate a the warf today, we were on the lake all morning and figured we would eat there since we could just dock our boat there. The dock was nice but the service wasnt!!!! All three of us ordered the special thinking it wouldnt take long being that it was bbq beef.... but it was a 45 minute wait!!! With not that many people there!!! My brother ordered another beer during the wait which he never received, but they were quick to charge him for it! And had to wait another Ten minutes for them to fix our ticket! Will never eat there again and will continue to spread nagitive word on the warf! (PS i left you the one cent tip :-) ) FU WARF

Amazing food with an awesome atmosphere

On a sunny, windy day dining Al Fresco on the deck overlooking the Lake, Channel, Road and Recreation Bridges. A delightful discovery for lunch during a short visit to the Lake Okoboji area. Good food, good location and pleasant setting. Watch for it on the east side of the road at the north edge of the causeway and bridge.

If it wasn‘t for our waitress Kayla...it would not have been a very good place.

The Wharf is the absolute best place to have lunch by boat on Lake Okoboji by far.The food is great! Their burgers, sandwiches, fries and salads are awesome. I especially enjoy their salads. You get good amount of fresh greens with fresh toppings. On the shrimp salad, you get a generous portion of large, fresh shrimp. The Bloody Mary‘s also are excellent. Have lunch there anyday and sit outside and take in the atmosphere. The inside is recently remodled, but I alwasy sit outside when visitng The Wharf. My favorite place!

Yes. A great place for boat watching but an absolutely horrible place for food. I don‘t think they‘d serve this quality seafood at Long John‘s Silvers. And sitting inside with the moldy ceiling and awful decor makes me shutter just at the thought. Is this an old condemned KFC??? That being said the staff was very friendly and timely. If I ever go there again it will be on the deck for a drink only.

Wonderful place to eat. The place is a long standing tradition in our family. Excellent food and good service. Perfect spot to watch the boats go by. They kids love watching the ducks and fish from the dock. Prices are resonable.

The friendly wait staff make the restaurant dining experience most enjoyable. Food is great too.
