Rio Pizzeria

Oh no! I ‘d be so sad if they closed for good! :( Anyone know what happened?

We were down two weeks ago and saw Rio is no longer at Courtyard Gardens. Did they move or close for good? We loved their pizza!

Rio Pizzeria has moved. Not in Downtown Spirit Lake anymore. It‘s on Hiway 71 at Courtyard Gardens

Rio‘s is good pie. That‘s definitely one thing I miss about living in the Lakes area. Owners were always friendly and used many fresh ingredients (garlic among others). Very good pie.

I am originally from the East Coast so I was skeptical when Rio advertised their pizza as New York style pizza. Well , it isn‘t exactly like what I miss so much but it is the next best thing. We live about 45 min. north of the area and often make a special trip down for this pizza. Try the veggie pizza- it‘s the best!

The pizza we had last time was very undercooked. Miss Woody‘s, always hot and good.

YUM! Rios is great! I work at a camp and unlike most places they love seeing us come in and don‘t hate us for taking a long time to order and eat. The owner is SO nice! It‘s fun because the pizzas aren‘t just like any pizza, they are fun. If you like to try new things I‘d recommend it!!

Finally a place that offers real pizza! Joe the Owner is super nice always gives us free icecream and breadsticks with our take out orders. Awesome! Not the best to re-heat.

i love rio‘s. the crust on the pizza is awesome.

This place has great pizza with yummy gourmet toppings like artichokes, spinach and pesto.......so much better than the standard stuff!
