O'farrell Sisters

Myself and four others ate there this morning and were extremely disappointed. After waiting for a table(expected) we sat down and ordered drinks and our breakfast. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to conjure up 3 waters and 1 bloody Mary. After waiting an additional 25 minutes our food arrived, cold and only partially present. Apparently in the 45 minutes since we ordered, all the cinnamon rolls had vacated the premise. I ordered a smothered omelet and hash brown. The omelet was sub-par and the hash browns had a taste that was like a chemical/grill cleaner flavor. Very disgusting and inedible. When it comes to service issues i‘m pretty forgivable since I work in the industry, but the whole experience as a whole was horrible. I‘ll spend my money at the family diner in Spirit Lake.

We walked in at 1:10 and the woman behind the counter said, "We have put everything away for the day, we close at 2:00, do you still want to order." We were confused by this since we clearly had almost an hour until closing. She was very rude about taking our order. When we asked about pies she said, "You can‘t get pie after 12:30 around here."

Okay, so the place famous for pies doesn‘t have pie. No problem. Then the "pulled pork sandwich" was actually cured ham, sure both come from pig, but seriously call it a ham sandwich.

The chicken noodle soup was wonderful and made up for all the rudeness of the staff, but I won‘t likely go back.

Not the same place I used to go to when it was the family running it. The staff is unfreindly, the food was served separately and cold. I reccoment the Koffee Kup.

Good food, however, they were busy and the waitress was indifferent to us for the first 15 minutes---instead she should have offered us a beverage to buy some time. She was crabby and didn‘t even apologize though the cook in the back did. It may be a Lakes area institution but I will think twice next time.

I use to go to Okoboji with families that I babysat for, they had relation at Okoboji so we would walk to O‘farrell Sisters for breakfast! Mmmm, good food. I really need to plan a vacation soon back up to the LAKE!!

This place is no smaller than Koffee Kup Cafe. I was surprised at how clean it was inside and it has a cute diner atmosphere. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. Always there to fill our cup when it was near empty.

The place is small, the food was fair, and the staff seem very taks oriented, not real friendly.

This place is small. and they do not have much of a view. Unless you consider a trailer home‘s living room a view. They have great food.

I think its a Great! place. I live at my weekend trailer, and I always walk down for breakfast, and their pancakes are great!

You can never get in! Too small and out of the way! Rude.
