Lighthouse

The new owner has done a great job! Food is outstanding and atmosphere friendly. Sunday morning brunch is especially tasty, but get there early - it gets busy.

The steaks were superb and the prices were reasonable. Service was above average. Nice bar as you enter and drinks served with a long pour.

Friendly atmosphere, great food and reasonable prices. Great place for locals and visitors. If you are in a huge hurry, you probably should go to a fast-food place (several are nearby). If you just want a good meal and enjoy a friendly adult crowd; this is the place.

1st visit this summer: shopping the area & wanted a quick early lunch. 2 tables occupied when I entered the porch. NO greeting from single server. 5 mins later she tossed menu on table & left. Took order 6 mins later...took 8 mins to get beveridge after that & another 20 mins to get lukewarm food.
2nd visit: met friend for lunch. Lone server never came by table. Left premises.
3rd visit: visiting family HAD to go here on friends‘ recommendation. After waiting for 10 mins for beveridges(food order not yet taken) we left in disgust.
There are too many DECENT restaurants in this area that have good food/service that I/friends/family don‘t have to return to Lighthouse. BEWARE!
