The Gardens is family friendly all day until 9 pm when it turns into a 21 and over bar. Inside there are pool tables, dart boards, and oftentimes live music. The Gardens boasts the cutest waitresses on the lake. The new menu includes a variety of burgers as well as healthier options such as delicious salads, fruit platters, and wraps. At night the bar is the perfect location for your bachelorette outing. Best of all, you don't have to drive. Come in your boat, and come as you are!

I‘ve lived here for a year now and right when I got here I was told The Gardens is a great place to go out on a saturday or grab some food during the week with their great specials. I agreed, until summer season. The serving staff the gardens hired must have been any idiot who could work for 6-8 hours a few nights a week. Some friends and I WERE regulars for their "Wednesday night, Wing Night"... until my orders started getting screwed up, weekly and on one occassion the horrible waitress we had screwed up my wing order (the flavor which I ordered) and said, "well I can take them off your bill" to which I replied, "No I would still like them, so I‘ll wait". Not a big deal, it happens, BUT she came back about 20 minutes later and asked if we needed drinks and I asked about the wings, she said the kitchen was closed and they were not going to make them, IT WAS 7:30!! My orders and tab are constantly wrong and the overall experience has dropped because of the summer season and now the gardens does not get my money nearly as often as the use to (use to be two-to-three times a week, now MAYBE once a month) all due to VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and as of two weeks ago, COLD WINGS.

Went for a bachlorette party and ended up returnig for a second night. The drinks were great and reasonably priced and with only a $5 cover charge it was worth it to see the band. Will go back if I ever make it to okoboji again.

this place smells and the help sucks and treats you badly. Watch you cc bill if you dont close out your tab they will and the tip that they feel they desirve.

Usually have had good experiences at The Gardens, however, last night was not so good. Just stopped for a light evening snack, special was Personal Pizza for 1.50 got one for wife I had one with additional topping for 2.00. Not drinking for the day so just water. Tab came out for 8.50 pointed it out to waitress, she took it back and came out with tab for 7.25 ( our companion‘s tab). I was not in mood to fool around any longer so paid and left. Someone was not having a good day or mathematically challenged.

Surprisingly, even in the Winter time, this bar still keeps it rockin! Have been going on the weekends and can‘t find a better place! Also has great music, great staff, and great drinks! I can‘t wait to see what summer will be like at The Gardens!
