Terrace Park

If you‘re looking for a quiet beach... terrace is not the beach for you. On weekends and nice days Terrace is usually packed with lots of kids and families. And yes, it is quite a bit cooler that most places. It‘s a fun place where lots of locals swim because it‘s back away from the main roads. I don‘t know if this is still true, but the man who ran the snack stand was a little creepy when I was in high school.

Best beach in Iowa. Can‘t get enough of this beach the only thing better is swimming in the middle of the lake on your boat.

A little cooler water then the rest of West Lake, but it‘s spring-fed. Also cleaner water because of this.
