We go back year after year. Great atmosphere. Fun visiting with people you don‘t even know. Like the boys helping you when you dock your boat. Friendly waitress‘s.

the staff doesnt seem to care about thier customers and the fact that they are trusting the staff with thier credit/debit cards....she lost mine and didnt even applogize or comp us a drink....RUDE. thankfully "WE" found the card. I dont think she even tried to look for it. I will definetly make sure to have cash and exact change for this place if i ever come back!

Was just there this week! Fun for all ages, and even allowed kids to join in karaoke until 8pm. They had a fantastic time! Even the flooding didn‘t stop the fun!

Our Band just played down there recently. Loved the vibe and bikini‘s, food was not bad considering the fact that the bar is actually located in a marina. If you like burgers, bikini‘s, pizza, parties, boats and nacho‘s, this is your place. Pricewise, food was fair, compaired to Lake Minnetonka. Regardless, the staff and owner were all very helpful and attentive to the band as well as all the patron‘s that day. Staff member Hanna (a.k.a. Meg Ryan), was Awesome....sit in her section!!

i love this place wether ur a youngster during the day that wants a strawberry dacery vergin or an adult who wants a couple drinks after dark its a fun place to be. :)

Tornado warnings sounded and they made us leave in a boat! After repeated attempts to manager and security guard they said the owner wants you off his property now. All other business‘s that night offered a safe haven during the storm....not the bar foot.

loved this bar my girls had a great time its family fun...have pics of my girls all in there shirts to bad i can‘t add them so u can see that they love the barefoot...

The waitresses are friendly and very pretty. Especially the two from Fort Dodge.

It may be a bit over priced but always a fun place to go to.

Gotta love it!!! Outside bar, relax, sit back & enjoy... Makes you feel like you‘re in the tropics. I go whenever I‘m in the area. You get to keep your glass for a suvenior!!

As a Okoboji lake rat I love this bar for the atmosphere but, I think it is pricy for the food. We ordered cheese nachos for $7 there were two TBS of cheese. Fun but, not a place to come many times on your Okoboji tour. O‘Farrell‘s is the same way over priced and atmosphrere can be had many more places like at home! or the grill in Spirit Lake.

Absolutely love it here!!! One of the best spots in Iowa! Seriously, there‘s nothing like it! Great place to kick back and relax while enjoying an outdoor, lakeside view and yummy beverages! It‘s like being on a tropical vacation in Iowa!!! LOVE IT!

The Barefoot Bar is the heaven in Iowa! Great atmosphere, great cocktails, good food, place for kids to play, some fun barefoot clothing shopping, right on the lake, plenty of dock space... I love this place - I visit the BFB every weekend in the summer!

Stopped by over Labor Day weekend and absolutely loved the Mighty Nish Band that was playing there!! Nice atmosphere, great drinks and even fun for the kids!

As a longtime lake-rat I have to support my local establishments. The foot is not my favorite place to go; however, it is worth a stop every so often. Admittedly the atmosphere is a little contrived, and it is usually full of tourists and bozos from Estherville working there, but It ain‘t bad.

We live here and can‘t wait for summer to come because it is an awesome place to hang out and chill with friends and FAMILY! You dont ever see a bar quite like this one! tons to do and its just awesome! we love all the workers there because they are so nice and just awesome!!.. we would just like to say that its just awesome! :) we love living in okoboji!

What a cool place!!!! Also went out on the Glass Bottom Boat. Lots of gun great bartender very entertaining. Can‘t wait to do it again!!!!

Great fun for all ages. My kids have a blast and beg me to go all the time. They also love having their birthday parties there. Can‘t wait for the Barefoot Barge and Glass Bottom BOats this year. Already booked a party on one of them.

Great place to go with the entire family. Joins the generation gaps. The music is perfect for everyone. Kids love it older people love it. The prices are comparable to anytime you go on vacation. The staff is very helpful. If you need to be catered to do not go on a busy weekend. (4th of July) The owner is often seen cleaning off tables and getting toilet paper for the bathrooms. Great place for all!!!!!

This bar is great. We had a lot of fun, but it was very hard to get the staff to lighten up, they seem so money hungry and crabby, very fun when we didn‘t have to deal with the bar girls. For this style of bar- lighten up ladies!!

I LOVE that bar! It reminds me of a tropical get away. It‘s my favorite place to go.

Looks like a really fun place, but DON‘T go during the week it‘s dead. Really confusing to find, from the outside it just looks like a marina. Then you have to walk through the marina to get the bar.

This place is SO great! My Grandpa owns a really nice cabin there and the first time we went to Okoboji we went to the Barefoot bar and we had a BLAST!! THE STRAWBERRY DRINKS ARE GREAT!!!!

The Barefoot is one of a kind, and a must see if you are in Okoboji. We have always had great service and found the waitresses friendly and consciencious. The bands are fun, Thursday Karaoke is interesting, and the fireworks incredible!

Great place-from the area and never stopped by there until recently. So much fun and relaxing atmosphere!! Kick back and relax. As far as prices, not the most expensive place in Iowa. You go out to spend money!! Kind of hard to save when your out and not just sitting on a beach!

SUPER PLACE!!!!! Always stop when we are in the area. Great atmosphere! We vacation in the area 2-3 weeks in the summer and when I return home everyone wants to hear about the Barefoot bar and am always asked to bring back the shirt for the year

Was down from Minnetonka and a great view from the lake said place to stop. Service was very slow and the waitress wouldnt even tell me the list of beers. Wanted some food but its order at the hut...the burger was over cooked. Shrimp was OK needs more selection. I would have dropped a hundy easy, but not enough to offer, left before I spent it. It could be a great place with some better servers and selection. Little kid friendly and I could bring my dog. Just OK...still looking for the "Fletchers of Okoboji"

I love this bar! Great views, great music, and great Mai Tai‘s!!

Can‘t wait for this summer season to begin, this bar is a great place to unwind, enjoy a few cocktails, and get a tan, all at the same time. Live Music on the weekends, with kareoke every thursday. And their FULL MOON parties are nights that will not be forgotten. Recommended for any locals, and a MUST see for any tourists.

I was at the barefoot for the first time ever this summer and it is a fabulous time. we came off of the lake and were pleasantly surprised at the laid back attitudes of the patrons and staff. it truly did feel like the keys of the midwest.

you gotta be kiddin...2.6? this is my favorite place in Iowa!
